Starry sky mini quilt

Just a quick post to share the details of a mini quilt that I made for the Very Snuggly Quilts program. The Starry Sky block was chosen as one of the April blocks for the Honey Pot Bee and after making the block for the bee I thought that these blocks would make a cute neonatal quilt.

In an attempt to use up some of my scraps I opted for scrappy blue stars with a scrappy low volume background. Three more blocks later I had a 24" mini quilt.

My apprentice quilt holder was happy to help me take a quick photo :)

I'm linking up the the Q2 2017 finish-a-long finishes as this was on my list for Q2.
